Default To OEM NAV or not...

To the guys who installed the OEM nav in there 07's...
Why didn't you go with a after market one like Pioneer or Eclipse??
Besides the fact of keeping the "factory look"... Is there any reasons why you did one and not the other...

I was looking into buying the OEM nav, i have been watching ebay for a couple of weeks and it looks like the price with GPS, and DVD would be around $1100-1200 + the JP wiring...

I have also been looking into this unit http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/pn...264980,00.html
On ebay they are going for about $700 bucks
or the high end one http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/pn...070352,00.html
this is going for around $1500 on ebay

Is it that the OEM has better features? Where have you guys been purchasing the OEM NAV?

The OEM unit looks much more integrated and is easier to use, it should also add value to your vehicle if you were to sell it.
The Pioneer unit offers more features but requires additional items and expense to integrate steering wheel controls and XM.
