Oil Change Place Trashed My Car
#21
The oil change place is actually a AAA facility. They do auto repair at some locations in NC and there's one next door to my office. So I just dropped it off on the way in to work and then just walked next door and picked it up. I would take them to small claims court but its limited to $5,000 in NC.

I agree that filing in small claims may be a good alternative depending on what the expenses are... If you file and they don't show the judgement could very well go your way and either way they do have to show up if you file a claim against them...
but do document, document every phone call, time, and date, and name.
Have your maintenance records handy to show your diligence on servicing the vehicle.
Also check with the BBB to see if there are other complaints similar to yours

That is a high frequency for Royal purple synthetic if thats true. We run that in all of our big rigs (+/- 7th largest private trucking fleet in the country). We do regular oil testing, and only change when the test results call for it. Sometimes they go over a year with one filter change. Id have to look up some mileages though, but most are averaging local about 750-1000 miles per week.
