I have a 98 suburban and keep getting an intermittent P1345 code, the truck just rolled 216xxx miles and as far as I can tell has never had any major work,(dist, intake, motor, tranny). I've read it maybe the dist gear wearing. If so, I have acsess to a "Genisis" monitor, will this be able to time the dist once I go back together? The truck runs ok, it has a slight miss at idle, and a more noticeable miss at road speed. Almost none when pulling the boat. It does seem to buck at shift points.

P1345 means "Cam signal falling edge out of phase +/- 26 degrees from crank falling edge." It could be lousy cylinder compression from worn timing chain and resulting cam timing issue.

I cleared it Saturday, it came back on when I started it after dinner. With so many miles, it's hard to pin it on one thing. I guess I'll start with the easier stuff like the dist gear, then work towards the timing set...????
