Default Passenger Door and Remotes Dead

I am new and trying to solve a problem. I hope someone out there can help me out. I am baffled... All at one time the remotes quit responding and the passenger door lock button quit working along with the power window, mirror adjustment, andbutton lightson the passenger side door. I can unlock the door with the key but that is it. Also when I use the lock button on the driver's side it unlocks the drivers door, the back two doors and the rear gate but not the passenger door. The harness feeding the passenger door does not look damaged. Any ideas.... I am in dire need of a solution. We have 9 month old twins and my wife is going insane having to manualy unlock the doors and then go back and lock them again then lock the passenger door seperate. Please Help!!!

Thank you.

A dealer will need to reprogram the Body Control Module (BCM).

Expect to pay 1/2 to 1 hour shop time for this proceedure, ask them to skip the troubleshooting and just do the reprogramming.

Thanks for the info. I found the Technical Service Bulletin below. Do you know if this was ever part of a recall?

TSB #032703 -- PASSENGER DOOR MODULE RECALL FOR REMOTE KEYLESS ENTRY, FRONT PASSENGER POWER WINDOW, LOCK, MIRROR AND HEATED SEAT FUNCTIONS. *TT *JB (NHTSA ID #10001874, MARCH 27 2003)

Take that print out in with you and ask if they will perform the repair referencing that information.

Smile 2003 Tahoe Passenger Door is Dead

I had the same issue on my 03 Z-71, nothing worked. I pulled the battery as suggested for 20 minutes and reconnected. I guess the module and computer started talking. I suggest you do the same to before dropping cash.

Hello Folks,

On my 2003 Chevy Tahoe, the Remote Locks, and all passenger side door power functions ( Window, Door Locks, Power Mirror ) stopped functioning. I unhooked the battery for perhaps an hour, then reconnected it.

All the passenger side power functions returned to normal and the remote locks once again functioned from the Key Fob.

Very interesting issue.

Thanks
