Default Power seat going opposite direction

Anyone have this problem? When I push the button to have the seat move forward, the seat moves backwards. And when I push it back, it goes forward.

I also have a problem with it remembering my driver 2 settings...

Every time when I get in the truck, I have to adjust my driver side mirror. I'm thinking all this is related.

Any thoughts?

I would suspect a faulty switch for the opposite direction issue, have the seats ever been removed or any work done under the seat that the connector was removed and possible reconnected incorrectly?

No, the seats have never been removed and/or serviced.

The "Driver memory" doesn't work for the seats or mirrors but, it does work for the radio...

Default memory

in the 07+ u can set (in the DIC) lol what a stupid name.

such that when you press unlock (on the key fob) it goes back to position 1 or 2 depending on your key fob

can you disable this in your 2003, and prevent your mirror from moving?

I haven't tried to disable, good thought though since my wife is banned from touching my truck!.

I'll look it up to see if I can disable however, I'm wondering if that is going to fix my forwards/backwards issue...

Has it always move in reverse? If you have the memory function, just set it and forget it.

That's another problem that I have, I just don't know if they're related. My memory function has been working half the time. Daily, I have to reset the driver side mirror, in the past I've have to reset my seat positions.

Even though the wife "driver 1" doesn't drive my truck.

my wife's 2004 Tahoe does the same thing. dealership "repaired" it twice under 3yr 36k mile warranty only to have it break a 3rd time under my extended warranty. they said it wasnt covered, it was some part under the seat (possibly the switch) that didnt fall under the bumper-to-bumper warranty. very convenient huh? last time i'll ever buy an extended warranty or a GM. if you figure it out and fix it please reply letting me know what you did.
