Quick post about my 2004 Tahoe, help
Hello all,
I haven’t driven or started my 2004 Tahoe in a few months. I just got a new battery and installed it.
When I turn the key in the ignition, all powered lights are working great. When I turn the key to start the truck, the starter cranks, but it just keeps cranking.
Before I dive in and disassemble things to find the problem, can anybody help me with where I should start? Might my problem be the starter? Maybe the fuel pump? Maybe spark plugs? Alternator?
Please offer any advice, thanks ahead of time.

Spray some aerosol starting fluid into the air cleaner or throttle body, try to start, do this a few times. If it runs for a few seconds then quits out, you have a fuel delivery issue, start there. If it won't run at all when you do this, then it's a spark issue, work on that. This is a common first test to help isolate the problem. This is practically an ALWAYS: isolate whether spark or fuel. And remember: just because the engine can crank fine, doesn't mean that the electrical part of the ignition switch (the "run" circuit) is OK.
