I have a 2005 chevy suburban with an aftermarket sony head unit. It used to work fine for two years. Now, the radio only works if the ignition is in the accessory position. Once you start the truck, I hear a click and the radio turns off. Please help!!!!

did you do the install or was it done for you? The relay that powers the radio may be bad or a connection that allows power when the ignition is on has broken... find the relay that is clicking and start there with re-seating its connections.. And if you have not already check all fuses

The radio works when the key is turned to the first position. When you start it, it turns off. Is that what you were asking kevinkpk?

No, it will stay on until it is started

 

Is there any aftermarket anti-theft system installed?
