Rear Emblem for 2007 Tahoe
OH yeah. Where you take off the wiper blade piece. Where the bar goes across that connects keep the paint off that bar. Also, inside that little area there are some raised squares that you need to either tape off, or razor blade off when the paint has dried. ON the middle part, the arm at the end where the wiper piece connects you need to keep the paint off it as well. If you paint it and put it back together and it doesnt move freely you will see what I am talking about. Hard to explain.
Tractor77 thanks for the tip. I top the gold piece of last night in about 15 minutes. Instead of a screwdriver you can use any old credit card or some other type of plastic card. It won't scratch the emblem underneath. It looks great thanks again.
I had the same problem when I ordered the front emblem for my '07 Tahoe. The first emblem, made by "All Sales",was smaller and the studs didn't match up to the factory holes. I talked to customer service at Stylin' Concepts and they sent me out one made by Empire Motor Sports. I just got it yesterday, and it is as large as the factory emblem. Fits perfectly. Looks great!

Excellent info, thank you. Did you require alot of effort to get the interior panel off to get to the rear emblem? The front emblem was simple to replace, but I'm wondering what it takes to get to the rear emblem to lift the gold sticker and re-assemble. Thanks in advance.
You don't have to remove it from the inside. You can "peel" the outer clear cover (with gold tape attached) off. Just read above. You can slide a credit card or fishing line in betweenthe outer rear cover and the inner chrome portion. It is taped on. If you are real careful you can get it off in one piece.
