RE: Sound quality for Bose system in 2007 LTZ.....
I don't think I have the subwoofer in my LTZ. Where is it located? I asked the dealer if the nav system had a better system and he said no, but I don't think he knew what he was talking about.

How about a 2007 Tahoe with just a bose system and no Navi ? Is there and upgrade to that system? How can I add an amp on top of the the bose system for additional speakers and subs?

I wouldn't say it sucks, but there is definitely room for improvement. A Denali sounds better by design. I think next time I'm selling out on Chevy and going with GMC.

Sound quality in the 2007 is much inferior to the previous models.
Very poor reception and overall sound quality in FM & XM.
Will GM offer a upgraded radio, perhaps with bluetooth?

If you guys have the rear entertainment, check to see that the system is on in the rear. I found that if you turn it off in the back then the sound is only good in the front. You don't have that surround sound from the rear coming thru the speakers. I played with it and turned it on and off and found that the sound is better with it on. Try it out. I think the system is fine, I had an F250 4 door with a 10" JL Audio in the rear, now that was loud. So if you are used to that kind of sound then yes you may be disappointed with the system, but I think that it is fine. I suggest that you add a 10" sub in the rear and possibly some mids and highs in the rear.
