Default Stabilizer Bar Bolt Sheared

So I'm under my Burb and see that the stabilizer bar link is completely sheared off on the right side. I just bought this truck and I know I haven't hit anything to break it. Anyone else have this happen to them? Anything else I should check for damage?

I'm not concerned about it as nothing is bent, but I'm more surprised that the dealer didn't catch it, especially since they replaced the tires.

I could see how it could be missed, everything but the top nut is there...
Did they do an alignment? if not, they probably never looked...

If they did an alignment I would *think* that a brief inspection would have been in order of the undercarriage...

You can get replacement end link bushing, bolts and the like just about anywhere, I would suggest the urethane over the rubber ones...also consider installing new bar bushings that have the zerk fittings that can be greased...

yep, every once in a while they break. Its not unheard of. Have you been hearing a single clunk over bumps?

Heard one the other day but thought it was a grate that I hit. Guess not.

Went over a speed bump yesterday and heard it smack. I've got the parts ordered. Anyone know the torque spec on the bolt?

Thanks for all the help.

If you ordered a kit it may come with the torque spec, otherwise I can look it up this evening , though someone may chime in sooner

No torque spec with the part. In2pro, if you can grab it for me I'd appreciate it, if not I'll just go for it.

Thanks guys

Thanks for the helps guys. I replaced it yesterday. Getting the old one off was a pain in the a$$, but once I did the new one slipped right in.
