Default Steering wheel issue... 2007 Tahoe

Does the steering wheel on your 07 Tahoe's seem uneven? What I mean by uneven is the left side of the steering wheel is closer to the dash when compared to the right side.

I want to think my eyes are playing tricks on me but I've asked two other people who observed the same thing.

Does it seem to wobble when you turn it lock-to-lock?

I would recommend that if you are experiencing concerns with the steering that you take the vehicle to your dealer. At the dealership they will be able to ensure the proper positioning of the steering wheel for you.

No wobble at all.

I took it to the dealership and late today I was told over the phone that everything was measured and everything is ok. Apparently, there is an angle sensor on the steering wheel or column that would I indicate if it is misaligned.

I have yet to pickup the truck tomorrow. Maybe the column is ok but the steering wheel is just deformed. I'll find out more tomorrow.

Let me know how it goes when you pick the vehicle up tomorrow.

You do know that the steering wheel is not centered on the column in order to give more leg-room when in the straight ahead position.

Dealer says its normal. I am still not satisfied. I would take photos but I'm not sure it will clearly show the issue.
