Suburban Yukon question
I want to buy the latest model Suburban / Yukon available with 4 wheel disc brakes and barn doors. Does anyone have an idea of what year models I should be looking for? I don’t want to convert a late 90’s with rear drums.
id also like one with a locking rear differential. Finally I’d prefer a 3/4 ton but a 1500 will suffice.
Was a 2500 suburban / Yukon XL ever offered with barn doors, 4 wheel discs and a factory locking differential?
i need a 4 WD tow vehicle with three rows of seating. I plan to use it to hunt and fish and the hatchback models wont allow me to mount a light bar on the roof at the rear to back a trailer and unload gear in the dark. An Excursion wont work either....and it ain’t a GM! I’ve owned several Tahoe’s and Suburbans with rear drums and they don’t have adequate breaking in my experience.

Mrs. Cusser has driven a 2005 GMC Yukon XL Denali since 2010. It has 6.0 engine, all-wheel drive, and disc brakes all around. She tows a horse trailer with this, says it's been the best tow vehicle she's ever had. About 210K on it now.
