Default Tahoe Audio

Hey, i have a '98 2 door tahoe and one of the rear speakers needs replacing. im talking about the speakers you would see if you opened the tail gate (or rear doors) and looked up (incase there was confusion). also i eventually want to install a woofer. so if you know anything about replacing the rear speakers or any general woofer info please let me know. your shared knowledge would be wonderful. thanks.

your rear speaker in the ceiling is most likely a 4"x10". i only know of pioneer that makes a 4"x10" speaker which is tsg-4103 or
tsa-4103. all u have to do is take the grill off a remove 4 screws .

4X10 is correct but keep in mind that the stock speakers are 2-ohm and the Pioneer's are 4-ohm, you generally will get much better sound quality with the stock amp/head unit if you stick with 2-ohm speakers.

Very easy, the cloth covered speaker cover(s) comes off by pulling and bending it slightly in the middle, and then 4 screws.
