I do like how tesla operates. They are smart enough to realize they cannot work like a conventional car company. if they did they would be bankrupt. imagine other electric car owners when they are told they have to buy a new battery pack. An off warranty hybrid or full electric that needs a battery is worth 0. Same for power tools; the battery is worth more than the product.


the gm lawsuit; a car shutting off should not cause a driver to drive into a wall/ditch etc. same with Toyota stuck gas pedal. That does not happen to a trained driver. Is it something that should be corrected; yes...much like a potential battery fire issue.
