where can I pull the whole thing out and get one from like the LS?

ohh, and my new 09 goes back to the dealer now 5 times total for the GPS destination voice commands not working. AWSOME! I actually broke out the camcorder and filmed it not working on 3 difference occassions... I will youtube it if i get a chance. 5 times.

 

I believe the LS model only comes with a center jump seat with a arm rest. I took my jump seat out and put in a console from a LT so I would imagine you could go the other way if you wanted.

 

Probably can buy it from the Parts Dept also.

 

I'll trade you for the center console you have. I have the LT version with the removable cup holders and the tray or whatever.

 

Be careful what you wish for. The new one w/ woodgrain and the flipper door while looking good isn't very functional as you loose precious storage space which on this design Tahoe is at a premium.

I think someone said it's a dual layer DVD, I don't have a DL burner, but I am looking for an excuse to buy a blu-ray burner, and that should burn dual layer DVD...

Uggg 4.0c... Thats not what I wanted to hear. I was hoping the reason your Navtraffic worked and mine doesnt is because of the updated DVD which is version 4.1c. So your Map has a button at the top that says "TRAFFIC" on it?

The DVD only contains MAPS. the software in your head unit is updated via some other process, it has nothing to do with the consumer map DVDs... (from what I understand, but I may be wrong)...

the device has a drive that holds the firmware to access the XM, maps, etc, you are looking for a firmware update...
