Default USB port not working?

2010 Suburban LT - the USB port in the center console (between the front seats) is not working. The lighter style outlets in the console have power and the audio controls on the rear of the same console work fine.

The audio system will not recognize a thumb drive and there does not seem to be any power.

I'm not sure where to look - any suggestions?

Too many miles, 39000, for warranty and I never tried it while it was covered.

The "test" was done with a USB thumb drive. The light on the drive does not come on and the .mp3 files are not recognized by the audio system. Also tried and iPhone 4. The "charging" indicator does not come on and the music files do not show up on the audio system.

Maybe a blown fuse? I suggest you take it back to the dealer. Their certified technicians should be able to offer additional information after a physical inspection.

Keep us posted.

Welcome to what GM calls "tech". I'm sorry for your loss.
The 2013 F-150 has the My Ford Touch. Check out that gizmo!

My wife has a Flex. The tech component is really impressive. She is getting a laugh out of this.
