I saw a 07 tahoe with a black bowtie on the grill and want to get a pearl white one for my car.. does anyone know where i can get one from?

how did you paint it white? what did you do?

 

I just taped around the black border. Then used an exacto knife/razor blade to cut off the excess tap on the bowtie. I then used an adhesive promotor, and dupli-color paint from walmart. Once the paint was dry I put on dupli color clear cloat. It turned out pretty good. I then decided I wanted the black border white as well. So I painted the black border. I wish I wouldnt have painted it! I just purchased another factory emblem and will paint just the bowtie and leave the border black!

 

sounds pretty simple. how much did the new bow tie cost you?

 

Your dealer has them for around $30. I picked mine up off ebay for $12 delivered.

 

whats the dealer call them? i asked my dealer and he had no idea? can u show me them on ebay? also the guy who painted his white can u post some pics.. because my car is white as well and i want to see what it looks like..

 

Just tell your dealer you need a replacement front grille bowtie for your 2007 tahoe. There arent any currently on ebay. Dont you have your stock bowtie? That is all you have to do is remove it and paint it. It is simple.

that looks really good biglgi think i am going to do that tomorrow. do you recommend a kind of paint?
