Default My burb shakes?

Hello everybody i have a 98 suburban which i love just tonight i got finished replacing the original shocks, (all four) hoping that it would stop the shaking. At about 60 the whole truck will shake. With the new shocks it has seemed to get a little worse the tires are new so i know they are not out of balance. I was thinking maybe this is also related to the fact i have about 5 inches of play i. The steering wheel on both sides of center. Im lost on this one

I think you answered your own question. If the play is that bad in the steering you probably have several worn out parts in the suspension. Check all suspension components.

New issue, I replaced wheel bearings outer and inner tie rods on both sides, upper and lower ball joints on both sides, put on new calipers and brake lines. Most of the shaking is gone, but now after I drive a little ways my rims on the front of the truck are so hot you can't touch them without almost burning your hand
