The V6 Tracker has an internal water pump. The book time is 15 hours for replacement. It took me three days in my garage (see picture below).
The inline 4 cylinder Tracker has an external water pump. You can replace that one in an afternoon.
The GM factory service manuals are printed by Helm Publishing. Haynes prints after market manuals but they do not list
one for the Tracker on their website. The GM Tracker manuals are translated from the original Suzuki manuals.
Suzuki Pit Stop says they have two paper Suzuki manuals in stock: Vitara (L4) and Grand Vitara (V6).
Ebay is showing two Tracker manuals for a 2003 Tracker, but they are pricy.
