Did you make sure there is good power and ground on the harness?

>Does anybody have an idea where I can get a quality sensor?

Didn't you already replace the sensor in post #1?

I have not yet replaced the sensor but will be changing it soon. The power supply to the eensor and the grounds are all good. When cranking, there is no sigmal going to the PCM from the cam sensor. Pretty sure that's the problem. I removed the sensor and I think I can see where the water got in. Scroll up a couple of pages, ther's a picture of the sensor from RockAuto. Between the female connetor and the 6mm retaining bolt hole there is a square like box (probably full of circuitry). This box has a plastic lid that shows no evidence of sealing. It probably has some glue or something under the lid but I think it failed to keep the water out. I've seen over the years many sensors that are sealed with a poured on epoxie. Those won't leak. Last night I ordered a brand new OE Suzuki cam sensor from a guy in Oregon. It should be here in a few days. I'll install it and keep you all posted. Thank you all very much for your help and advice. L84sky, special thanks, your explanations and diagrams and tester screen shots made it all make sense to me. R&R Heater Core Coming next!
Happy New Year to all!

it could be the wiring too. Easy enough to check.

Just want to add that my ECM went haywire not long after I got my engine bay washed (oil leak). My car was having issues with surging/stalling/shutting off; the mechanic who pulled out my ECM said it had this dark liquid in it that looked like coffee. All issues stopped after ECM was fixed. So yeah, be careful about washing stuff down there.
