Tracker1989-2004
This compact SUV proved itself to be a fine ecnomical vehicle, good for making its way along any type of surface. Platform: CAMI (Suzuki)
I want manual hubs for my 02 Tracker. Ive watched a few install videos with the cheaper hubs and i notice the axle doesnt go all the way through the new hubs. Does anyone see that being a problem in the future or should it be ok?
I am not familiar the "cheaper hubs" you are describing.
I have a pair of SuperWinch manual hubs. They work fine but I don't think they are available anymore.
On mine, the splinds on the axle shaft completely fill the splinds on the hubs.
I was watching a video of the MileMarker hubs being installed on a 2nd gen Tracker or Vitara and noticed the splines arent fully married i guess is a way to put it. I was wondering if anyone would think that might be a problem later on down the road ? I cant justify spending $300 on Warn hubs. The MileMarkers are around $125.
Yeah, looking at the picture it sems the axle shaft is not filling the manual hub. Maybe the Mile Marker hubs are deeper than mine but I might want some internal dimensions to be sure..
