2008 Trailblazer Headlight issue
Before posting this, I read all over the forums about similar issues and tried those fixes first.
Issue: First I had one high beam that wasn't working on the passenger side. Checked it out and the bulb was burnt. So I replaced it. Worked fine for about 2 weeks. Then one day, NO headlights at all. Mind you the drivers side were both working.
Since then I have replaced the other bulbs (low beam passenger side, high beam was already changed, and both low and high beam on driver's side) nothing. Then I checked the wiring. One side did look frayed a bit, so I bought a kit that had new wires, new sockets and new connectors. Replaced all that, Nothing. I looked up the fuse box diagram for my make and model, and swapped the #45 with #46, still nothing. Swapped them back. Went and bought a new one just in case. Still nothing. I checked out fuse #53, didn't look burned, but changed it anyway, it was 15A. Still nothing.
Anything I miss? What else could be the issue? Getting tired of not driving at night. Can't go anywhere because I gotta be home before the street lights come on LOL

Check your grounds. I cannot say for sure where your grounds are, but if you have the 4.2L engine, the passenger side lights ground should connect to the body above the coolant overflow reservoir - air filter box area, and the driver's side lights ground should be on the driver's side of the engine block right about in the middle, behind the alternator and below the EVAP Purge Valve. NOTE: I am going on where the grounds are for a 2004 TrailBlazer with the 4.2 L engine.
Good Luck!
