I have a 2002 trailblazer when i live in iowa my car always ran with temperature gauge under 210... i moved to vegas and now its one mark over the 210... changed fan clutch, thermostat,radiator cap, flushed the radiator and put new fluid... and it still stayes over one mark of the 210.. i dont understand anymore.. can some one help

 

Did you replace the thermostat with the same temperature rating as the previous one? You might try an cooler thermostat, instead of a 200 or 190, go with a 180.

 

im pretty sure i put the same thermostat as the previous one... ima have to look into that

 

im not too familiar with a change in sea level. but could that have an effect of the cooling system? i know the higher the less pressure so it can boil faster (but the cap will negate that) but could it be less air is getting pulled over the rad fins?
