Default No start no crank on 2006 Chevrolet Trailblazer LT 5.3L

I recently started having problems with my Trailblazer starting. At first it would not start or crank until a few minutes of repeatedly turning the key then it would start. The starter would do a clicking sound as if the battery was dead and then fire up. Now it wont crank or start, the starter doesn't make clicking sounds. This all started to happen when the ABS and Service Stabilitrack lights come on.. It was like they these 2 things would come on and go out on its own. I changed the battery. Now it wont start and wont crank. Checked all the fuses.. They're a good. Even had a tester on them. Im down to 3 options. .. Possible short some where, Starter and ignition. Also worth mentioning there is power going to everything else as they all work normal.
All answers would be greatly appreciated. Before i consider changing out the starter and ignition.

I assume you have idiot lights ect. with key in on position, what happens when you move the switch to start?

Put a meter on the starter solenoid and see if it is getting 12 volts when the key is turned to start, If it does not then the starter is not the problem.

Could be neutral safety switch, put it in neutral, and try that. As stated if you have a meter, check for voltage during crank attempt.
