a/c not work

a/c not work
After being rear-ended and I got my car back, the a/c does not work.
Problems
1. A/C button stays off - will not come on at all
2. Defrost button works
3. Heat only works when put between cold and the halfway mark
4. Rear vents only blow on the bottom (does not blow from the top)
We have checked the fuses and reset the computer system (unplugged battery).
Any suggestions?
