Default Rear Spark Plugs

Does anyone have real world experience of replacing rear 3 spark plugs on a 3.9L Uplander?

I tried rotating engine, and I still could not reach plugs.

I tried to remove Upper Intake, but I can't get access to the rear Ignition Coil Bracket bolt that must come out before I can remove Upper Intake.

There is also a thick harness and power steering lines that block the left Ignition Coil Bracket nut...

There must be a trick, I'm missing - please help!

I did use charm.li (an excellent resource), their directions work well if you have engine out of the vehicle... the problem is the engine is buried and some of the nuts are obscured by thick harnesses that disappear to the back of the engine.... that is why I'm hoping someone who actually worked on the 3.9L would chime in with their real world experience.

The 3.9L engine bay is a lot more buried - which is what causes all the access issues. There is also a thick harness that covers bolts you need to remove ignition coil brackets etc to which then gives you more access and allows you to the upper ntake manifold off.

I removed the coil and plugs on my 09 3.9l rotated after removing dog legs. Take the coil bracket off with two bolts one on driver side from bottom of engine (I have a hoist), and passenger side take off from top by feel, it’s near the alternator back.

did all three plugs on the firewall side from the bottom

I also replaced the rear plugs from under the car a couple months ago. I did not loosen the engine mounts or pull the engine forward. I did it in my gravel driveway on ramps. I was laying on my back reaching up. It was surprisingly comfortable for me to work like this. I have long arms so maybe that helps. I also have skinny arms and hands/fingers. I can't remember if that would make a difference. It probably does.
