no disrespect intended.

I was referring to the dealers in my area. which after many years have given me nothing but dissatisfaction. dealers here are so bad, there are all crooks and liars.

one of them even had there license to sell G.M products pulled by G.M canada, and they went to court to sue GM to get it back.

and only the MAF and the o2 sensors were replaced.

spark plugs have not. at least not yet. LOL

i don't think plugs are the problem. don't use ngk...they are great for Asian products...not so much gm....

here is the latest. took it to the dealer for a pip-4364a , which is the TSB for the computer re-calibration of the alcohol content.

after recounting the entire story of what I have done and changed,

they agreed with me that it was likely problem. they completed the re-test and the re-calibration of the PCM, and said my computer alcohol content was at 45% , and my actual gasoline content was 10%. so it was pout of whack. they road tested the car and said the fuel trims were again normal.

so i took the car with the service guy and around the corner from the dealership the light goes back on, so back to square one.

after another few hours of waiting, they re-tested everything, fuel pressure, map, maf, purge solenoid. i took a loaner and went home.

later that day, they said they dropped the gas tank and the evap canister was saturated with gas and my filler neck pipe was kinked. that and they claimed the ngk o2 sensor i put in the previous week was the wrong one and insisted they put in a c delco.

so after ordering the expensive part, they changed the evap canister and so far so good.

just dont ask what that cost.

just in case you don't know when you re-fuel...when the pump clicks off the first time....don't add anymore. Over fueling is what saturates canisters. the tank is meant to contain 90% of it max volume.

thats the thing, with the price of gas being so high.

I haven't done that in years.

it doesnt explain why this happened in the first place.

I know it was expensive...but its sounds like they were very thorough. I think you got a very skilled tech as that concern/repair could have easily been overlooked.

Take the wiper motor assembly out and lubricate it.
Lots of info here and on YouTube to help you.
I did mine and it works like new.
