if the fuel pump has been running without fuel, it is most likely to be deteriorated.
The fuel pressure should be close to 25 or 30 PSI on the injectors (2bars)

It did start and run indefinitely without a code. But I would have to "reset" it every time by completely disconnecting the battery and then reconnecting. The crank sensor was not bad, one of the wires on the plug was broken. I put a new pigtail on the plug and that fixed the problem. I would check your injectors while cranking the engine with a noid light.
