Default Help on inner tie rod end

I am planning on replacing the inner tie rods on my friends 2003 Venture. I'm not real familiar with front wheel drive setups. I have done some research and the job looks fairly easy as long as you have the right tool to remove the inner tie rod. Is there anything I need to watch out for when doing this job? Thanks!

Thanks Tuffy.........As it turns out, we only had to replace the outer tie rod ends. The inners felt pretty solid. Thanks for the reply. ( I'm going to get the tool anyway because I know I'll need it sometime in the future.)
