This past Monday marked the first day of Auto China 2016 in Beijing. Amongst the debuts of the Porsche 718 Cayman, the LeEco LeSee (LeSigh), and the Mazda CX-4, there is this: the TRON-inspired Chevrolet Cruz.

The year 2016 marks two completely separate but equally monumental milestones in the automotive sphere. For the Camaro, 2016 means the 2017 model year, which is the 50th anniversary of the model year for which the Camaro was released.

Chevrolet has a new strategy for its pickup trucks, the Silverado in particular: Niche the hell out of everything.

The new generation Chevrolet Camaro is better than its previous model in every way. It’s lighter, it’s stiffer, and it’s more powerful.

It has a Chevrolet Silverado body with a Cadillac Escalade mug. It has TV monitors in the headrests … and there are no backseats. It has chrome six-spoke wheels with low-profile tires. All this and more on today’s episode of … Unsolved Mysteries.
