bought a bi-directional code reader. can dig deeper into the truck now.
have 4 new o2 sensors for it , will install those and then look into the other codes. wifey drove it last and said it ran like $hit and the engine light came on....

installed more led lights-under-hood, doors, 3rd brake/ cargo lamps, license plate lamps/ with running lamps-
installed a tailgate assist cylinder
soldered in a new pig-tail for the blend door motor- did not seem to fix the problem- scan tool shows not able to establish connection- but only for the hvac system- all other ecms i can access thru the code reader and get real time data and do injector tests and sweep the gauges in the dash but will not let connect to hvac module-swapped in the old hvac unit, still did not ''communicate''
2x 02 sensor codes, for bank 2 sensor 1 , but i do have an exhaust leak on that side...
and ''transmission component slipping'' code
and some others
but biggest peeve is the hvac. will check the fuses/ relays/ grounds....the exhaust / o2 will be fixed by installing new headers. already has new sensors installed, and by doing just that it removed the other 3 o2 sensor codes-ALL 4 of the o2 sensors failed the last time i ran the diagnostics-

weird. swapped in a different blend door motor- it went full sweep one direction- would not go back / change position when temp dial rotated- would only twitch the blend motor-

installed oem ? control unit, blend door motor sweeps both directions- but WRONG direction on the control panel- hot is cold, cold is hot.
double checked replacement pig-tail we installed- wire colors are in the correct places.

so, replacement hvac control panel doesnt work properly. surprise surprise chinese parts

currently have fuses removed and battery unhooked, trying a internet hvac reset.....AGAIN
