I bought a 2006 silverado 4x4 a few weeks ago. Replaced the tie rods, ball joints, upper control arms, pitman and idler arm.
after installing everything, the inmer tie rod is making contsct witt the cv shaft mount. And the center link is hitting the pumpkin where the fill port is. The inly thing i can see is that the passenger side of the center link is higher than the driver. And the moog pitman arm isnt seating all the way up. I am at a total loss.
according to Rockauto, 6535 is an idler arm, not a Pitman arm
You want
6536 (4 groove), or
6654 (3 groove)
these are for a 2007 and up.
That was a typo on my part, 6536 is the correct number for the pitman arm I have.
as far as the UCA’s, the website had them part numbers listed incorrectly on the listing. I looked at the UCA’s themselves and the part number stamped on them is CK80942
