2008 Silverado dash cracking
My wifes tahoe is a 2010 with 90,000 and we are the 2nd owner however we have a great relationship with the dealer so that could be another reason.
I have a 09 crewcab im going to try to get the dealer to fix. I have 140,000 miles on my truck though. a good lasting relationship can go a long way esp in the dealership industry.

Hmmmm......keeping an eye on this thread. I am considering dropping over $30k soon for a truck. I am seeing some members with progress though. Chrysler would have laughed you out of the building for this problem on a brand new vehicle
Brian Harris Chevrolet has been good to my wife and I as well and GM customer service on this site. With every vehicle you will have your issues but as you can see they are trying to resolve this issue. I dont think you will be disappointed at all.
I am sorry you are dealing with a cracked dash. We would like the opportunity to further discuss your situation with you and gather additional person information. Can you please reach out to us via private message and include your full contact information, VIN and the name and location of a nearby dealer you would work with? We look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely,
Laura M.

As suggest above, do contact Chevrolet Customer Service, they can get you setup with a local dealer and get it evaluated... if you are the original owner and under the 100k mark as addressed in this thread you have a very good chance of having it covered 100% or at a reduced deductible....
Do report back to us what the outcome is, good, bad or ugly... as this info may help others in similar situations help get theirs fix too!

I have an 08' Z71 LTZ with 82k miles and my dash just cracked near the instrument cluster. This is complete crap. A $43k truck and my dash cracks!
I hope GM customer service can do something about this.
