Default 2015 1500 Silverado Stabilitrak issue

I have a 2015 Silverado 1500 Double Cab Z71 LT2.

My truck pops up service stabilitrak on the dash screen, then ABS and Traction control lights come on and my park assist sensors are shut off. if I shut the truck off start it back up they gone, drive around a bit and they come back. It doesn’t throw a code. And it doesn’t seem to have any specific thing that triggers them back on like braking or accelerating. No power loss or noticeable driving difference, just obnoxious lights.

My 2017 is doing the same thing only the Check Engine light comes on and the truck runs like crap. Like you said, shut it off and it's fine for a while and the next thing you know it's back again. This is my first Chevy. Could very well be my last. Oh.....and mine is in the shop as we speak.

Stabilitrak and Traction Control are interdependent systems - if there’s a problem with one, the other is also disabled; however both are controlled by the ABS module - if you’re using a basic code reader, it won’t read ABS codes. You’ll have to get a reader capable of checking ABS codes.

A common issue GM has had in the past is the steering wheel position sensor - the ABS module relies on input from this sensor to determine if evasive steering is taking place. If that is the problem with your truck, the fault can usually be triggered by performing a U-turn (try left and right turns). If you can duplicate it, the sensor is at the base of the steering column and takes about an hour to replace.

Supplemental control systems (stabilitrak, traction control, etc) rely on controlled engine speed and torque. If a fault is causing the engine to run rough, those systems are disabled until the fault is repaired. Check the codes, then diagnose and repair the fault to restore operation of those systems.

My '17 Silverado is at the dealer as we speak for this same issue. They believe it is the main wiring harness coming off the battery shorting out when the steering wheel is turned a certain way. Hope to find out this week for sure.

I have a 2017 with 28455 miles on it.

Starting having issues with misfires. Check Engine light came on.Dealership said 3 bad injectors.
Can someone tell me why I would get 3 bad injectors with only this many miles ? Should I be contacting GM?

2014 Silverado 1500 Z71 4x4 LT
has been in service Dept for 4 days. Electrical issues over rough terrain. On bumpy roads all electrical goes out for 1/2 second then comes back. Loose everything including power steering since they have electric pumps. On info screen I either get service 4x4, service stabilitrac, sometimes resets all stations and clock on radio. Also I’ve had anti theft kick in a couple of times when I try to start truck. I don’t believe Chevy has a clue to what’s causing this. I’ve had my service Dept main electrical guy looking at my truck for 4 days. They pull codes and there’s no code for the issue but he told me where he sees that the the ecu has lost connection with the truck over 100 times. They’ve charged me $414 so far and changed negative battery cable. This is standard procedure I believe. I’ve read on several forums they make you do this. It’s in service bulletin 18-NA-161. Still doesn’t fix problem. I’ve also had all recalls fixed. I just can’t believe that after 6 years nobody has found a fix for this. Ive seen in some posts the truck had this problem when it rolled out of manufacturing line, brand new. Disappointed in GM. Anybody with info on this please share.

Wish I did. But I'm going to have one hell of a story once I get my truck back, supposedly this Friday.
I'm going to post it to this thread. I'm not saying a word until I have my truck in my possession. You know GM monitors this and other sites related to GM products. I trust no one at this point.

Sorry to say got the truck back and immediately threw the same codes. Still at the dealer. They can't figure it out. They have no clue what's going on with the truck. They say they are getting GM involved again. Truck is for sale. Only 28622 miles on it
Any takers?

Did you ever get this fixed? I am having the same issue with my truck and I'm running out of ideas.
