2000 Astro won't start

Answer is..... the distributor was arcing from center post to #4 cylinder on each fire, thus the kickback. Although the crankshaft position sensor wiring was bad (probable not the sensor), I guess it wasn't the problem at all. Nor the new computer (ouch). Finally took it to a mechanic and he solved it in a few hours. Unfortunately for me, in this case I would have been better off to take it in in the first place. I think I'm still ahead (doing my own repairs) in the long run....

We have a 1999 S 10,it has a 4.3 L,it is in a no start condition,it cranks but thats all,the fuel pump is working,it has a new ignition coil,spark plugs and wires,we got a p366 fail code so we changed the crankshft position sensor.it still won't start,wiring to the sensor appeared to be good.any ideals next

You may hear buzzing with the fuel pump but is there enough fuel pressure. Are you getting spark?
