Default Please help- 2013 GMC SIERRA 5.3 / 67000 miles

Hello Sarah,
Need some help from GMC. I am the one owner of a 2013 GMC Sierra 1500 Texas edition and have changed the oil religiously every 5000 miles. This morning on the way to work my cam and lifters and apparently my stabilitrak traction control and abs all went dead at the same time. Parkway Chevrolet in Houston Texas is telling me it's going to cost $5,800 to get this fixed. Looking on the internet and through these forums I can see that this is a problem that has been plaguing the GMC and Chevrolet pickups. This is crazy and it is not affordable for me to fix.. please GMC will you reach out to me and possibly parkway Chevrolet to remedy the situation? I desperately need your help please please please help.

Had the same issue on my 2008 LT with a "#6 misfire" code. The final clue was an empty coolant reservoir. Pulled the #6 plug to find it was badly fouled. Acting on a hunch of a slight leak in the cylinder head gasket, used Blue Devil Cylinder Head Sealant. Good rep, but not cheap - $54 for a quart on sale. Followed the directions exactly. Put in a new plug. Now runs like a top. I was hesitant to use a sealant product vice pulling apart the motor to replace the gasket, ($1200 if you pay a pro,) but now a number of months and no problems.

Any ideas ?

Question 07 Avalanche LT

I'm having a similar issue with my 07 avalanche. I've replaced the throttle body and cleaned the filter with throttle body cleaner. My codes for service StabiliTrak, service traction control still came back after a few days. Now they come and go but I don't feel any difference in the driving. I do however feel a vibration at around 40-55mph, this only occurs while on the gas. If I let off the gas the noise stops but then it's this slight skipping/grinding type sound coming from the rear. I'm under the assumption I need to change my rear wheel bearings or u joint. I've replaced both front CV axles, rechecked and retightened all of the bolts, lug nuts and etc but the vibration and noise are still there. also, my park assist is on but I figure that's just a sensor. any help for any of the problems above?

I NEED EVERYONE TO COMPLAIN TO GM!! Don’t just fix it.

Email me your info so I can forward it to my attorney. They need more people to come forward with this problem so that they could actually have a case on their hands.

Hi. I have ths problem I've replace the tps, mas, plugs ,wires, cleaned throttle body and none of this worked its start to smoke smells like the valve seals are leaking. It's like the truck is stuck in some sort of mode. Is there away I can disengage the energy/fuel management system so I can save my truck.

what they chevy needs to do is do a major recall. Take some of that millions of dollars that they are putting in there pocket and give it to the people that have spent in there vehicles to get them running and still nothing.
