Default Captiva no heat

Chevy captiva 2014 the heat suddenly quit working. It door won't open to allow heat to pass through. IV removed the actuators on passenger side and manually opened it so the heat works but both actuators stoped working. Can't control which vent air comes through. Won't open to warm air. Any ideas?

It might not have happened at the time but you may not have noticed it till later. Yes it is possible for both to go out at the same time. Have you checked for blown fuses?
