i need help, i'm getting my car towed home right now i don't trust this guy and can't understand him. i'm down in ft. lauderdale, and if any guys can help me out, i'll show my appreciation.

Did he inspect the distributor cap?

is the gas cap on and is it tight? sometimes that does the trick
