Default Car shuts off on the on ramp

I have a 06 equinox LS FWD. I had the drivers rear hub replaced and later that day every time I turn to the right and shift the weight the car the warning ! light comes on. Regular Getting on the freeway with a little right turn in it at about 50 mph and even with the cruise set on the straight. The car shuts down the speedo and tach stay put but the car coast and the gas pedal does nothing you have to just wait for the light to go off.

I had a similiar problem with an 08 model with 17k miles. The car shut down and lock everything on a busy highway at 40 mph with message 'service throttle'. You could not move shifter, etc. After sitting for a few minutes the car would start again, but shutdown after 30 seconds or so. I had vehicle towed to dealer and waited 1 day for new battery that was one of the problems. I will pick up vehicle tomorrow and will add to post when I get further info.

I would suggest having your vehicle diagnosed at your local dealership. They would best be able to diagnose and fix your issue as well. I hope that helps you.

Hi Jeff;

I do not trust the dealership shops I have visited. Unless you can recommend a trustworthy GM shop in Seattle area. BTW I have located and taken care of the water leak into the trunk myself since the dealer could not fix this problem in the past. Any other suggestion would be welcome.

If you could direct message me your zip code and the name or names of the dealer/s that you've worked with I would be willing to check out any dealerships in your area. Thank you for your time.
