Default 2006 not cooling

hi when ac is on and compressor is on its not blowing hot air...i have checked level with a gauge and when sitting at idle ( without a/c compressor kicking on) the gauge is in the danger area. Then when the compressor kicks on its in the green area. I am getting surges of cold air then warm air just not continual cold air..any suggestions?

Thanks

ap4u06,

I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing this issue. Have you checked to see if you need your air charged?

Thank you,
Elizabeth, Chevrolet Customer Service

I haven't read that, but I've read that several folks have the same experience that my 07 does. It seems to slow down on the blower speed on it's own. I notice periods of time when it just seems to lag, no matter what setting I have the fan on. Others have reported this too. Seems like a design flaw to me.
