Crappy radio reception
Ehh I went visiting to SD.
There is an area where FM is spotty, I normally switch to AM until I am thru that area.
On all my rides except that van , I can do that and not humm to myself.
So I am getting zero AM and way not as good FM than any of my other vehicles.
I have had the van for about a year but have only taken it that far a few times.
I took it because I used it to sleep in instead of some creepy motel room and because this time of year the motels charge for hunting season.
You see, the van gets 13mpg and my car does much better plus it's moderately fast.

Thanks for the info. What year van? Does it have a roof mounted antenna or one of those in the windshield glass. Have you checked to see is antenna wire is plugged in to radio well and at antenna end too? I improved reception in my 93 Sub by unhooking both ends and spraying with deoxit.
14 rt fender mounted antenna.
What's detox deox what's that stuff do?
It could be all corroded I guess if that's what you are saying.
I know it's plugged in at the rt passenger kick panel.
Ran a power cable for auxiliary fog lights threw that plug in the fire wall.
And yes the issue existed before that.
Already have a rubber vacuum line that is falling apart.
