Default HELP! 1996 chevy express conversion van rear AC hose

Hi guys, I have been fighting with my rear AC for 2 years now. I have a 1996 Chevy Express 1500 with the gladiator/Glaval package. My dad helped me rebuild the rear blower motor last year, as there are no aftermarket replacements that fit. Then the expansion valve died. Found a replacement on ebay. Now, the rear hose has busted. I am at a loss at to which one will fit to replace it and I could really use some advice. Here are some pictures of the damage.
Broken right ay the connector part, mechanic recommend welding. Where do i even begin?!?! How long is the hose if I replace the whole thing?

I'm really desperate to get this fixed as this is my family van and I need rear AC for my kids. I have 5, so finding a different car is not really an option right now. Besides, I love my van!

Look into AN fittings for hot-rod performance applications.
Here's one a quick search came up with. https://www.southernrods.com/a-c-and...ittings-1.html

Default Thank you

That was very helpful! Because of that link I ended up finding a mobile air mechanic that new what he was looking at and tried to help. Turns out my dryer has busted and blown little black bushings everywhere. The whole system is toast😭 so, unless I want to drop several thousand dollars, there's no saving it. And even if we did, there's a possibility that something else could break, because it has a decent amount of rust from the previous owner (I'm in the south US, they were primarily up north.) So, looks like I have to retire my beautiful girl. Hopefully I can find someone that wants to restore her and has the time/money, because her engine is amazing!
