My Express van was blowing air from the front vents to the defroster whenever I accelerated and returned to normal when I wasn't. I changed my accumulator recently when I did some AC work so I checked that area and noticed I accidentally dislodged a small hose from what I think is a vacuum check valve. I tried my best to take a picture since it was in a tight spot and drew arrows showing where each connection piece is. The unplugged hose is coming from the blue arrow. I couldn't find any other unplugged hose or connection port so I tried connecting it back into the red arrow to form a loop. The air then to start blowing only from the defroster even when the car was idling. I'm not sure if what I tried made my problem worse, what the right hose configuration is or if I'll now have to replace the actuator too.
