Arrow Fuel Pressure

Ok so I got a fuel pressure gauge from the parts store and the guys there said it would work. It goes to 15 Psi which my truck shouldnt go over 13. My question is on the back it says do not use on fuel injection Why is this if it is rated for the psi on my truck? Should I use it no one in town has any other fuel gauge! Thanks guys

Well my truck runs at 55-60PSI , maybe they are just warning about those types of injection. Pressure is pressure.

Fuel injected (true fuel injection not TBI) has pressure much too high for that gauge. It may actually blow the hose or gauge apart. However since you have TBI which is a low pressure system the Gauge should work.

Default Intake Manifold.

I want to see if my intake manifold is leaking is there a way to check this? Could I spray something around the edges and see if it misses? Thanks guys!

Have you done a vacuum check under load, Iam sure yours is different but mine maxes at 14 on the vacuum guage. I have a long vacuum line for my guage that reaches into the cab, but my scan guage gives me a readout already. But sensors can go bad, I like the analog/oldschool hands on readouts with a handheld guage better sometimes.

Yeah I have a vaccuum gauge ill have to try that out I just replaced all my vaccuum lines and my TBI gasket so I guess if my vaccum is low my intake is leaking. DOes any one know what my vaccum pressure is suppose to be?

Default Computer

Can engine computers go bad??? Is there a way to test it? When you replace a computer can you just plug it in and go? I just wondering because My truck is running like crap and ive replaced every sensor(trust me every sensor) Ran compression test, fuel pressure test, Took it to the dealer, and 2 other mechanics. And when I put the 350 in to replace the 305(40,000) miles ago I did not replace the the computer, just the prom chip and it ran fine untill now. ANy help is appreciated
