Default Removing only driver side cat instead of both 05 tahoe

Hey guys I’m wondering if it’s actually bad for the motor to remove only one catalytic convertor instead of both. I have the 5.3 and some people are saying it’s bad for the motor to have two different back pressures and bad for it to make two different powers or whatever. I just want to know if it’s actually hurting my motor and if I should take the other one out.

If you were going to remove a cat, why remove just one? Yes, you should remove both.
