Default Removing a pilot bearing damaged my crank, can I still use it?

Okay, so the title says it all, I had to take out a stubborn pilot bearing and in doing so, the bearing puller and other tools used to remove it damaged where the bearing should go. Based on these pictures, do you guys think I can replace the bearing and run it, or am I going to need machine work and a new crank? Thanks for the help.

I should have said that some of what you see in the pictures is just debri from drilling out the bearing, too. Note the scratch on the sidewall.

Can't really tell from the pictures, but I would think that if the new pilot bearing fits in straight and tight, I would try and use it that way.

I'll go along with oldchevy on it...

As long as the shaft turns freely in the bushing without too much slack, you'll probably be ok.

If there is a burr in the pilot hole you might want to use a small die grinder to remove it. Then install the bearing.
