Default 2011 hhr leaks water on passenger side

I have been reading lots and lots of people are having this problem is it a recall? defect in the car? Seems that the problem is even common is a range of different years so if it's not being addressed and it is costing customers nearly 1000$ to have fixed why is Chevy not fixing the problem?

do you have a sunroof? if yes, one of the sunroof drain tubes may have come loose.
What type of help are you requiring...to fix it yourself or to get gm to fix it for you. the repair forum can only help with the former.

No sunroof trying to figure out why? How to fix it,how much it's going cost and if there's any recalls or and cost relief if it is 900 - 1000 like others are saying since it seems to be a common problem.

call a dealership and ask if any recalls are outstanding for your vehicle. they will need the vin to do the check.

I can't estimate the cost of a repair without knowing the source of the leak.

typically, a dealership will bring the car in, remove interior trim covers, spray the vehicle with a garden hose for 20 minutes or more and see if they can trace the entry to its highest point. Once the source is found, a repair estimate can be generated.

The 1000 other cases on hhr's....where did they say the entry point was?
