I need to know what this wire goes to in my 06 Chevy impala please help!

hard to say. will the car start? the wire being that thick i would assume it was something for high voltage like the ignition coil or something

Hello Brittany, so you have a disconnected wire.... can you see (or show us) what the other end of that wire you are holding connects to? Maybe this can give us a clue.

If it were high voltage then you wouldn't have an exposed quick-disconnect terminal on the end.

GM doesn't normally use QD terminals, so that tells me this is probably a mod, not a factory connection. Also the way the rubber gasket is crimped into the terminal is weird. Someone's been messing around.

Looks like it could be a antenna cable.
