2001 Impala Base Electrical Issues
So I've been having a battle with this car's electrical system and it's driving me nuts. It seems when the weather gets warm (<60 Degrees Fahrenheit), the car seems to act nuts electrically. The first electrical malfunction symptom I got was last night when the "Trunk Open" message on the dashboard on stays on when the trunk is closed and turns off when it's open. Then today when I drove it to work, the door lock refused to unlock when I put it in park and now when I restart the car, the radio locked up and displayed a "LOCKED" message onscreen. From what I've know, the battery tested good, ignition barrel has been changed and connections are good. Would this the fault of a bad BCM or Ignition Switch?
Thanks in advance!
EDIT:
When I drove it home after letting it sit for ~4 hours and it's slightly cooler outside, the radio is unlocked and worked with no problems, when I got it home, the door unlocked for me when I put it in park with no issue. The "Trunk Open" quirk is still present.
Thanks in advance!
