Oil galley plug hole
Hello,
Looking for suggestions. I just had my 5.7 TBI motor rebuilt by a local builder. I built the motor up and reinstalled it. Went to crank it up oil went everywhere. They left the oil galley plug out above the oil filter housing, I got a plug sealed it and installed, done. Went to crank again and the same thing. This time it was the plug above the one I just installed LH side. But this one has a hole drilled in the counter of it and no way to remove that I can tell. I am calling the company tomorrow and see what they say. My question is there a good way for me to get it out, I have read they are a bear to remove. I thought about epoxy but not sure if the quality that will leave behind? The hole appears to be about 1/8” but tough to tell it’s in a bad spot. Thanks for any help!
